Before & after

Some of our recent work

Here are a couple of walls we're proud of. It's always a great feeling to hand over a neat, strong wall to a happy customer.

Before: a dug-up trench along a garden boundary. After: a long, finished precast wall.
Stronger boundaries, better protection From an open, dug-up boundary to a long, solid precast wall that keeps the home safe.
Before: open boundary with bare posts. After: completed grey precast wall on a brick base.
A new boundary wall An open boundary turned into a smart, secure precast wall on a brick base.
Before: overgrown garden by an old brick wall. After: clean new precast wall.
A garden makeover An overgrown corner, now a tidy and private space for the family to enjoy.

Our story

It all started with a dream

Almost 26 years ago, Annemarie and Johan van Schoor had a dream: to build a business of their own, right here in Stilfontein. With hard work, a lot of heart and plenty of early mornings in the yard, that dream became Midwest.

Today, Midwest is a name people in our community know and trust. Not just for good bricks and strong walls, but for the way we treat people. Annemarie and Johan still put everything into the business, and they still love chatting to every customer who walks through the gate.

For us, it's simple. Look after people, and only sell what you'd be proud to use at home. When you come to Midwest, you're not just a customer. You're a neighbour, and we'll always do our best for you.

With love from Annemarie, Johan and the whole Midwest family. Built strong. Built local.

Thank you!
